New from Puretone - the NanoComm, a personal sub-miniature gooseneck boom microphone for simple and easy 2-way communication. The ultra lightweight comfortable headset features a 2.8mm diameter boom microphone. Snap-fit action allows the headset to be connected to generic eartips or the optional custom silicone mould.  Fitted with a 2.5mm stereo gold plated jack plug.  The NanoComm fits either left or right ears.

The NanoComm can be worn under crash helmets or noise protection headsets and can also be worn with the PROTECThear noise custom noise protectors (CE marked to EN-352) fitted with the communications clip. Weight of assembled headset (excluding cables and plugs) 4 g.

The NanoComm is available in 4 models:

NanoComm GP - General-purpose ultra lightweight headset for 2-way communication. Can be used with the adaptor supplied and either of the 3 sized ear tips or with an optional silicone ear mould for extra comfort. Fitted with a gold plated stereo 2.5mm jack plug and windshield. Boom mic constructed using a sub miniature gooseneck tube.

NanoComm GP-B - Ultra lightweight headset fitted with a range of plugs to suit proprietary radio equipment for two-way communication on the move. Designed for motorcyclist with PTT built into the bike. Used in conjunction with a low profile custom silicone mould to prevent pressure build up on the ears by the crash helmet. Boom mic constructed using a sub miniature gooseneck tube.

NanoComm XPM - Similar to the GP system but this set has an in-line PTT switch and is used with proprietary radio systems and is terminated with a plug to suit such a radio. Boom mic constructed using a sub miniature gooseneck tube.

NanoComm XPS - Similar to the XPM system with the addition of a second clip in headset (excluding the boom mic) fitted with a receiver sound transmission in both ears. Ideally suited extremely noisy environments.
